Nolan's Seven Principles of Public Life
The Committee on Standards in Public Life first put forward the seven principles in their 1995 Report .
They have been restated in the Committee's 2016 Report Striking the balance  which reviewed the various regulators.
The Principles are Selflessness, Integrity, Objectivity, Accountability, Openness, Honesty, and Leadership:
